Orange Kush A++ TOP SHELF INDOOR GROWN – From Wyatt’s Premier Reserve In San Fernando Valley California  – There’s been a lot of talk of late about the boutique/craft strains hitting the gram, and yes they make take a good photo, they have literally no heritage or lineage behind them. They are flashes in the pan, and frankly I know you all so well now and your taste buds, you wouldn’t enjoy them anyways… So I chose for the last month of summer to bring back one of the older strains from the late 1990’s that has some of the most incredible history and structure that you will ever have an opportunity to smoke. (and we won an incredible award with this strain in 1994!)

Orange Kush is a fusion of legendary strain OG Kush and ever-fragrant Orange Bud, creating a strain that can be described as “almost narcotic”. Orange Kush is a happiness-inducing hybrid that will make you park yourself in front of your fridge with every intention to clear it out as a case of the munchies kicks in hard. My Orange Kush is a great choice for when you have absolutely nothing planned, as it will make you slow and steady while smiling from ear to ear.  Orange Kush weed is a unique combination of sativa and indica strains. Its heritage is the melding of OG Kush and Orange Bud, OG Kush being a potent indica-dominant strain with hints of Lemon Thai and Chemdawg. Its other parent, Orange Bud, is an indica dominant strain with a streak of sativa. This background lends itself to a heavy dose of both sativa and indica leanings. Most cultivators agree with me that Orange Kush sits in the middle of the spectrum and features about an even 50/50 split, mine just hits a bit harder than most… 😉

Orange Kush marijuana strain has an aroma that most users compare to a sweet dessert. In particular, many liken it to an orange sherbet with a hint of vanilla and earth. Its notes of spicy earth lend to this strain a robust smoke that is both pungent and pleasing. Its citrusy tendencies give it smell a bit of zestiness that lingers long after the source is gone. Some customers state that the Orange Kush strain has a rich and vibrant smell that isn’t overly skunky or dank. Some say that is has some pine elements. Those with a keen sense of smell may very well be able to discern its alpha and beta-pinene makeup. That’s probably what I love about this strain the most and why I brought it to you for the August Sub Box… it truly shows up differently for each and every person that smokes it, meaning everyone of you will have a slightly different experience with her, all incredibly GOOD, but that’s what makes these older, established, renowned strains the very best!!!

I must share because of my own knowledge of this and personal use, this strain in terms of a medical performer works wonders for ADD and PTSD.. seriously.. it’s incredible in how it shuts off those receptors in the brain and protects us from suffering anymore than we need too.

This is from my personal Private Reserve and Im bringing this strain to the menu in a Top Shelf A++ rather than a A++++ Exotic to make it more affordable and user friendly for everyone in the BL Family. The exotic was specifically grown for the sub box in August, but I’ve been growing and harvesting this top shelf flower – which looks so damn good… the whole time with the intention of bringing it to the site. 🙂
